3歳でピアノに触れクラッシック音楽を学ぶ一方、16歳よりシンセサイザーに魅了され、ベルリンへ渡り帰国してすぐに都内でDJを始める。TechnoミュージックをベースとしながらMinimal、Click、Electoronica、DeepでボーダレスなExperimental要素が強い音をこよなく愛する。数百人規模のクラブでDJプレイほか、09年のX JAPANコンサートで行なわれたh.NAOTOファッションショーではバックアクトとして東京ドーム10万人の前でプレイする経験を持ち、その時の映像がFashionTVより放送される。同年、全曲オリジナルトラック制作を行なった1stアルバムをavexよりリリース。香港、台湾とグローバルなDJ活動も展開させているほか、東京ヴェルディ応援曲「With You」のRemixを手がけ、ANNA SUI COSMETICS 2010 A/W、Cartier-LOVE-2011、TAG Heuer by Japan Motor Racing Hall of Fame2013でDJを担当し、代々木第一体育館で開催されたGirlsAward 2011 A/Wではサウンド総合プロデュースをしている。
Dj Ruby learned classical music through touching the piano at the age of three, and was enchanted by the club music scene by age of 16. Soon after returning from a move to Berlin, she launched her DJ career in Tokyo. Besides having extensive experience spinning at clubs, she experienced playing as a backing act in front an audience of 100,000 at the Tokyo Dome for h.NAOTO fashion show held at the X JAPAN concert in 2009, which was broadcasted on Fashion TV.
Ruby also demonstrates her stellar ability in composing tracks; she self-produced and arranged her entire 1st album from axex. Rooted in Techno, her sound has a strong experimental element that borders on Minimal, Click, and Electoronica.Dj for 2010 Anna Sui Cosmetics Autumn Collection, Cartier-LOVE 2011, TAG Heuer by Japan Motor Racing Hall of Fame 2013 and total sound produce for Girls Award 2011 A/W.
She continues to expand her global career in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
