●Saturday March 7th, House Not House are very proud to present Birmingham's 02:31 promotions, for their Japan debut. Those who have heard their weekly Show on Rinse FM (Wed 10:00 – 12:00 JP time) know to expect bumpy 4x4 beats, big bouncy basslines, diva vocal cut-ups and speed garage warps, all under the umbrella of 'house & bass'. Those who have been to their famous after-parties at The Rainbow Warehouse know to expect feel good vibes and electric energy from start to end. Those who know the Clock Hazard DJs on support, know to expect some of the bounciest Made-In-Japan sounds around. And those who know us, House Not House, know this is one party not to be missed.

イギリス・バーミンガム市で行われる、何千人が集まる大盛況イベント「02:31」のＤＪは、３/７の夜にHouse Not Houseから日本デビューを飾る。生き生きと跳ねるようなビート、動きのある低音、派手なディーバボーカルを巧みに織り交ぜた、イギリスらしい音楽性を魅せるメインイベント。バイブス溢れるWarehouseで開催されるアフターパーティーや、ロンドンの伝説的海賊ラジオ「Rinse FM」でのレギュラー番組など、聴く人全てを沸かす集団としてベースシーンで広く知れ渡る。サポートとして、狂ったダンスミュージックを開発する秘密結社「ClockHazard」が枠の超えた国産テクノで国旗を掲げる。最後に今回の主催者「House Not House」クルーDatwunとFrankie Dollar－密輸したての未発表満載なセットでブチ上がらずにはいられない。

Formed in 2011 by Tom Shorterz and Andy Bell, 02:31 has come a long way in 4 years from an experimental after-party in a railway arch with a leaky roof, to one the UK's leading names in house and bass music, with their own weekly show on Rinse FM and headline sets at London's Fabric nightclub. From it's HQ in the Rainbow Warehouse in Birmingham's Digbeth industrial district, 02:31 has launched the careers of superstar DJs like Hannah Wants and Chris Lorenzo, and can be said to have played a foundational role in the creation of the house 'n' bass and jackin sounds. 02:31 past bookings read like a who's who of UK rave music and include: Disclosure, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, Shadow Child, DJ Zinc, Shy FX, Ms Dynamite, Roska, Skream, Redlight, Zed Bias, Todd Edwards, DJ EZ, Jackmaster and Marcus Nasty.

Tom ShorterzとAndy Bell により2011年に創設された「02:31」。このイベントはスタートしてからの４年間で大きな発展を遂げた。当初、雨漏れの鉄道橋の元で開催された新しすぎるアフターパーティから始め、北イギリス のみならずロンドンの「Fabric」など、大規模なグラブでのヘッドラインとして進出。イギリス海賊ラジオ「Rinse FM」のレギュラー番組を持つようになりイギリスのハウス・ベースシーンの立役者として知れ渡る。
バーミンガム・ディッグベス工業団地にある「Rainbow Warehouse」に拠点を置き、House & BassにおけるスーパースターHannah WantsやChris Lorenzoのキャリアに大きく貢献した。要するに「02:31」があってこそHouse & BassやJackinというシーンが今の形で存在すると言っても過言ではないだろう。

■Clock Hazard
Clock Hazard are Japanese house & techno label, formed in 2014 and based in Kyoto. All the members are anonymous. They are a radical think tank, dedicated to seeking out the latest dance music and stirring up the scene from the inside.

2014年に成立された日本のTechno /House レーベル。メンバーは全員匿名。最新のダンスミュージックを探求し、シーンを扇動するラジカルな頭脳集団である。

House Not House is a new record label operating out of Shimokitazawa, Tokyo. We aim to support deep tech and UK house music in Japan, while bringing Japanese artists to a UK audience. Our house is house music with edge; strange house, dark house, house with fuck off basslines, spaceship noises and sexy grooves for the shuffling massive. It's house, but not house, feel me?

House Not Houseは東京の下北沢を拠点に活動する新レーベル。イギリスのディープテックとハウスミュージックを振興しつつ、日本のアーティスをイギリスへ紹介することを目的としている。我がハウスは、変わったハウス、狂ったハウス、ダークなハウスミュージック。恐ろしいベースラインや宇宙からの音に、セクシーで踊りやすいリズムをもったサウンドがHouse Not Houseの理想。ハウスだけどハウスじゃないっていうか、ハウスじゃないけどハウスっていうか。。。
