残暑もぶっ飛ぶ WOMB の看板パーティー、ドラムンベースの最速 BPM による疾走感と共に更に躍進を続ける DJ AKi のレジデントパーティー06S !!今月のゲストアーテイストは、ドラムンベース界のライジングスター Fred V & Grafix が遂に初来日決定！ Fred Vahrman と Josh Jackson の2人ユニットの Fred V & Grafix は、2011年に名門大手レーベル Hospital Records と契約し、その存在を強力に世界発信し続けている。’13年3月に Hospital からデビュー EP を発表する以前から2人の活動は多方面から注目を浴びていた。その頭角を表したのは、アルバム”Fifteen Years Of Hospital Records”での”Find My Way”で、デビュー以降、破竹の勢いが止まらない。また、Emeli Sande の”Daddy”、 Skepta の”Hold On”、Camo & Krooked の”All Fall Down”等のリミックスワークも活発だ。そして、Rudimental の”Feel The Love”は名曲リミックスとして高い人気を獲得した。Hospital Records からは大人気コンピ Sick Music 3での"Major Happy”、"Hospitality D&B 2013"での”Purple Gates”、そして2013年3月には彼等ならではの個性的なディープ・エレクトロ・ドラムンベースチューン”Goggles EP”を発表し、Fred V & Grafix の確かなカリスマ性と才能をシーンに知らしめた。’14年3月には待望のデビューアルバム”Recognise”をリリース。重量感のあるベースに乗せたメロディアスなシンセラインとヴォーカルとのコンビネーションで、リキッドセンスの光る独創的だがキャッチーで繊細な仕上がりとなっている。楽曲のライティングセンスさながら、彼らのギーク的要素とダンスフロアの空気感が見事に融合し、知的な印象を受けるその音楽性は、多くのファンを獲得。また、”Catch My Breath”とリリース毎に成功を収め、彼ら自身のレーベルである Med School から Etherwood をヴォーカルに招いたトラック”Forest Fires”はリリース前から Radio1 のプレイリストに加えられ大ヒットとなった。現在世界中のフェスやイベントでギグを行っており、2015年9月にはイギリスの BESTIVAL やアトランタの Tomorrowworld にも出演予定。大注目の Fred V & Grafix から今後も目が離せない。

The featured WOMB party that is sure to blow away the lingering summer heat; DJ AKi, who continues his growth and offers speediness with his fastest BPM of drum & bass, will have a resident party 06S !! This month's guest participants are the rising stars of drum & bass, Fred V & Grafix, making their first appearance in Japan!
Fledgling stars Fred Vahrman and Josh Jackson a.k.a Fred V & Grafix signed to Hospital at the end of 2011 and have been making waves ever since with regular appearances on BBC Radio 1Xtra and mini mixes on Annie Mac's show.
Having already released music on Allsorts and Talkin Beatz, and received Radio One support from Zane Lowe and Annie Mac, Fred V & Grafix made their first appearance on Hospital as part of the “Fifteen Years Of Hospital Records” album with “Find My Way” and have continued to take the label by storm. As well as producers within their own right, Fred V & Grafix have also stunned us with their remixes of Emeli Sande – “Daddy”, Skepta – “Hold On”, Camo & Krooked - "All Fall Down" and not forgetting their amazing remix of Rudimental's chart-topping No. 1 hit "Feel The Love".
Since signing to Hospital, Fred V & Grafix impressed with their Sick Music 3 contribution "Major Happy" and the epic "Purple Gates" which appeared on Hospitality D&B 2013 before finally bringing us their debut solo release, the awe-inspiring "Goggles EP" which dropped in March 2013. With plenty of charisma, talent and the backing of many of the industry's key players, one thing's for sure - as we look ahead, the future is most definitely bright for Fred V & Grafix.
March 2014 saw the long awaited release of their debut album 'Recognise' which combines their love for live music, weighty sub bass and creative collaborations with newschool vocalists and producers. With prodigious song-writing, epic musicality and dancefloor sensibility, ‘Recognise’ eschews the predictable structure of todays identikit D+B. Simultaneously intellectual and effortless, it’s a breath of fresh air that builds on the success of Fred V & Grafix previous releases and includes ‘Major Happy’ and ‘We Are 18’ favourite ‘Catch My Breath’. The second single from the album 'Forest Fires' which features vocals from Med Schools very own Etherwood, was added to the BBC Radio One playlist ahead of its release cementing their cross over success. With plenty of festival appearances all over the world lined up through out the summer, don't miss out on this duos dancefloor smashing sets.
