2015年も怒涛の勢いで躍進し、更なる進化を遂げた WOMB の大人気ドラムンベースパーティー 06S。最長レジデントパーティーに裏付けされた、その安定感のあるグルーブとパーティーバイブはアジア代表の名に相応しい。今年最後のゲスト DJ は、UK ドラムンベース界のスクラッチ番長、DJ HYPE が登場!! ドラムンベース界の最高峰に君臨しながらも、常に時代と共に前進している彼は、ドラムンベースの歴史の中で DJ HYPE の存在無しでは語れない黎明期からのトップ DJ だ。レゲエ、ヒップホップ、ハウス等のバックグラウンドを持つ HYPE は、89年 DMC ヨーロピアンチャンピオンに輝き、当時レイブイベントでのプレイを中心に活動する傍ら、海賊放送局 FantasyFM でのレジデントをつとめ、HYPE の名を広めた。’97年に Pascal、ZINC と共にジャングリストの間で最も信頼の厚い伝説のレーベル TruePlayaz を設立。その後、LONDON を代表するトップベニュー FABRIC で毎月最終金曜日に TRUE PLAYAZNIGHT のレジデント DJ を務め、15年に渡り続くこのパーティーはドラムンベース本家であるイギリスの代表的パーティーとなっている。3台のターンテーブルを駆使し、バトル仕込みのスクラッチを織りまぜる HYPE のプレイは予期不可能のグルーブを展開する。昨年の 06S での DJ プレイも大好評で、レジデント DJ AKi との競演は見逃せない事間違い無し！

The greatly popular WOMB Drum And Bass Party 06S has grown by leaps and bounds in 2015, and continues to evolve even more. Supported by the fact that it is our longest running resident party, it would be fitting to say that with its stable grooves and party vibe, this is the party that represents Asia. And for our final guest DJ this year, we present the scratch leader of the UK drum and bass world, DJ HYPE!! Despite being at the pinnacle of the drum and bass world, he is always moving along with the times. You would not be able to talk about the history of drum and bass without mentioning DJ HYPE, as he has been a top DJ since its inception. Possessing a background in reggae, hip-hop, and house, he was the 1989 DMC European Champion. Along with mainly playing rave events at the time, he also popularized the HYPE name as a resident DJ on the pirate radio station FantasyFM. In 1997, he established the most trusted, legendary label TruePlayaz, along with other junglists, Pascal and ZINC. Since then, he has been the resident DJ for TRUE PLAYAZNIGHT, which is held at LONDON's top venue, FABRIC, on the last Friday of every month. Still going strong in 2015, this party has become the premier drum and base party in England. By commanding three turntables, and mixing in scratches that he honed through battles, HYPE's play unfolds into unpredictable grooves. Having earned great reviews for his play at last year's 06S, his battle with resident DJ AKi is sure to be a must-see event!
