生々しいマシン・グルーヴとラフで温かみのあるシンセ使い、雑味たっぷりの楽器演奏と時折表すファジーでメローなボーカルワークで、ディープなソウルとファンクネスをマシンに宿すプロダクション・スタイル。2008年、バルセロナにて開催された Red Bull Music Academy に招待され、Sonar Sound Tokyo、Rainbow Disco Club、Do Over などの国内フェスや、5 Years of Boiler Room: Tokyo にも出演し、海外でのライブ活動も行っている。これまでリリースしてきた楽曲やリミックス・ワークは国内外のDJにサポートされ高い評価を得ている。また、Shing02 脚本・監督のショートフィルム『BUSTIN'』のために書き下ろした楽曲が Floating Points と Alexander Nut の耳にとまり、『Natural Thing/Bustin'』7"として UK の Eglo Records からリリースされた。N'gaho Ta'quia 名義でリリースされたデビュー・アルバム『In The Pocket』では、自身のルーツである70年代のファンク／ソウル・ミュージックをダーティなビート・スタイルで再生させたような架空のムーヴィ・サウンドトラックを表現。アルバムのアートワークを担当したTOKIO(青山宗央)が制作したプリミティヴなマスクを被ったライヴ・パフォーマンスも必見。2015年はソロ活動だけでなく、grooveman Spot とのユニット 77 KARAT GOLD のアルバム『WANNAFUNKWITU』を Jazzy Sport からリリース。ヒップホップ／ハウスだけに留まらず、ニューウェーブ的なアプローチをも漂わす、エレクトロニックなファンク／ソウル・グルーヴとビート・サイエンスを体現した作品になっている。

With raw beats, warm and ruff synth, rugged instrumentation and fuzzy vocals, sauce81 brings deep soul and funkness to his machine grooves. This Red Bull Music Academy 2008 Barcelona alumnus has performed at Sonar Sound Tokyo, Rainbow Disco Club, Do Over, 5 Years of Boiler Room and many other music festivals and events.
After a number of remixes and compilation tracks, his own 12inch releases were played by many influential DJs around the globe. He also dropped the album "In The Pocket" under his N'gaho Ta'quia alias in 2014, as an homage to his roots from the 70's funk, soul, jazz music and blaxploitation movie soundtracks, with psychedelic synth sounds and soulful vibes driven by dirty fat beats.
'Natural Thing' and 'Bustin'' originally written for the film "Bustin'" directed by Shing02, was later released as a 7inch on Alexander Nut & Floating Point's consistently excellent label Eglo Records, and it flew off the shelves the moment it dropped.
Also known as 1/2 of 77 Karat Gold: a collaboration project with grooveman Spot on Jazzy Sport. In 2015 they delivered a package with their diverse style of electronic funk and groove science in their debut album "WANNAFUNKWITU".
